I am super excited to have partnered up with the super fab company Bluum. I'm so honored to be a Bluum momma and so excited each month when our box lands on our doorstep! If you aren't familiar, Bluum is an amazing company focused on sharing various mom and baby brand name products. Each month mom's receive a 'Bluum Box' filled with large product samples so mom and baby can test drive them before buying.

To further your interest and showcase just how great these monthly deliveries are....Ryan and I are sharing with you our monthly boxes. Each box is themed, and filled to the brim with great product samples you A. Wouldn't have bought yourself with out trying it first or B. Items you haven't even heard of, yet now can't live without! I swear you won't be disappointed.
 This month the theme was "Spring". So far this is my favorite since it came with great items I can pamper myself with! Inside the Bluum Box came a full size organic baby snack, chocolate candy samples, delish tea and lavender pillow spray. I fell in LOVE with the lavender pillow spray by Skin Free, talk about amazing! I love the smell of lavender and the soft scent on your pillow is truly relaxing. Plus, it is made out of organic essential oils to help you drift off to sleep.

Free Willy

Well it has taken this dude 18 months to figure out how those Velcro tabs on his diaper work.

His new favorite activity involves stripping down and airing his baby jewels.

Good thing he has only done it at home...

Anyone else have a son who likes to 'take it off'? No? Just us? Figures...

Gotta love this kid.

When Momma Sleeps...

I am not a napper...over here we like to sleep in so usually there is no need for a mid afternoon snooze. However, some days things feel overwhelming, things pile up and I loose my energy. When I am overtired and on the verge of a melt down, Dan usually calls me out and sends me in for a nap. (Much like I do with our son Ryan) Those naps sometimes are perfect, (sometimes I don't sleep I just lay there). Alone time is sacred and I love soaking up my minutes of solitude!
Although I enjoy my "nap time", my dudes enjoy it even more! My boys use their "Guy Time" for ridiculous games, sports and more silly antics. I have to say my favorite thing is watching my son and his father bond over things I have no clue about....like sports, wrestling and well sports.

Ryan and I are so lucky!

Saturday Snapshot VII

This weekend's theme is sugar rush...kicked off at Sprinkles Cupcakes, followed by donuts for breakfast and rainy day puddle jumping. Although I am looking forward to sunny afternoons covered in sand and salt water....nothing beats a yummy, lazy day wrapped up in a blanket watching movies and taking naps. Plus, snacking on left over donut holes! Enjoy your weekend!

Muffins That Will Rock Your World

I recently shared this yummy recipe over on another blog. I just wanted to post it here because it is that good!

Happy Tuesday!

What you need

`2 cups flour

`1 cup dark brown sugar

`2 large eggs

`3 bananas (roasted)

`1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

`2 tsp baking soda

`1 tsp vanilla

`big pinch of salt
`caramel (melted) I love this recipe or you can use store bought...whatever is easiest for you.

What you do

`Pre-heat oven to 400'. Place bananas on a foil lined baking sheet. Roast bananas till they turn black (about ten min)

I love roasted fruits and veggies. I feel like the roasting brings out the sweet flavors and adds a nice taste and texture through out. So, although roasted bananas are highly un-attractive....they taste amazing!

`Once bananas are done and cooled completely....mix all the ingredients together.

`Turn the oven to 325'

`Scoop the muffins using an ice cream scoop or measuring cup for equal sized muffins

`Sprinkle a good amount of brown sugar on top each muffin

`Bake for aprox. 15 minutes

`Let cool completely then drizzle melted caramel over the top....and enjoy!

Inside The Bluum Box

To further your interest and showcase just how great these monthly deliveries are....I'll share with you our recent box. What is fun is that each box is themed, this month was "cuddle". Inside the Bluum Box came a full size plush toy, BPA free food storage bags, diaper cream and healthy snacks.

Some of these products I have never heard of. What I found most useful was the diaper cream. Ryan has always been prone to gnarly butt rashes and I usually can kick it to the curb within a few days, but I  always like trying new things. Turns out this new butt cream by Pinxav is amazing and I ended up getting more. That is exactly what the ladies of Bluum are after...enlightening mommas on great new products to help make parenthood easier. {Plus if you buy the product from the Bluum site you earn points for free items!}

Saturday Snapshot VI

Right Now.

`Ryan is 18 months and he loves to laugh.

`Ryan's favorite thing to do is play "throw the ball", run and play outside and eat gummy snacks.

`Ryan is learning how to kick a soccer ball....and it is so cute my heart melts when I see him "practice".

`Ryan is still a sleep champion....he loves to sleep in till 9:30. 10:15 being his latest.

`Ryan can dance better than Beyonce'.

`Ryan can't get enough of reading books and fake texting on his Buzz Lightyear cell phone.

`Ryan loves listening to music and his favorite song is "Moves Like Jagger" and anything by LMFAO.

`Ryan gets crazy when he sees Elmo....gotta love that Elmo!

`What I love most right now is that Ryan loves to hug and give kisses. He is so flexible and we love taking him everywhere...whenever! Right now we are cherishing these moments....
