We have been terribly sad over here for the past few days. We recently lost our loving grandmother, whom we will miss so much and never forget. One of the things we will remember most is spending time at her beach house and having fun with family. I believe she will be looking after us always, however especially at the beach where she loved to watch her family enjoy each other. We are so grateful to have had her as long as we did. I feel blessed that myself and my son Ryan were able to spend time with her. We are sad to see you go, though we know you will live in our hearts forever.

Now that Baby Boy Bakery is shipping orders out each week, I had to find a place where I could get super cute packaging fast and for a decent price.
Let me just say real quick how super blessed I feel. I'm excited that Baby Boy Bakery is growing and you are all watching and supporting. To those of you who have been placing orders...I send you a huge hug. We are so grateful for each and every one of you. As far as our packaging choice, we landed on Garnish. Garnish is this wonderful online gem that provides the cutest packaging for everything! Whatever you want, they have. They take it to the next level with their chic boxes, bags, and tags. Take a look...

Have you ever tried putting sunscreen on a toddler? Have you ever tried to put a sweater on a bucking bull? Well, its all the same thing. Now that it is summer and the sun is a blazin' I need to protect my kids skin. ESPECIALLY since he is what most call a "ginger". Meaning his skin is as pale and sensitive as it comes. Awesome.
Usually, we slather on the sunscreen and I wrestle my toddler till he is coated.
Him: "Ow Momma,Oh Momma...Ow! OWWWW!"
Me: "SERIOUSLY WHAT HURTS RYAN?! WHAT?!"
However, I recently was introduced to Super Goop Sunscreen Swipes and I have fallen in love. Mostly because you can just wipe your wiggling toddler down and call it a day. I wouldn't use these at the beach, but if you keep a few in your purse you'll be covered! I'm taking the time to let you mommas know about these, because I think they rock. I'm always looking for things to make my life easier. Plus, if I carry them in my purse this summer I'll be the "prepared" mom! (Ya Right)
If you are interested they look this...

They look like this when I'm trying to gracefully protect my kid from the sun's harmful rays....
Happy Suncreening!

When asked to be a blog contributor you scream YES! and jump up and down.
When asked to be a food contributor on a blog you scream YES!, jump up and down and do some high kicks until you almost nail your kid in the forehead....Sorry Ry.
My first 'foodie' contributor post is up now-Chocolate Banana Hazelnut Muffins. I shared a photo of those rockin' muffins on InstaGram and most of you wanted to know the recipe. It's up! Let me know how they turn out!

I have some great ones lined up, but if there is anything specific you would like to see just let me know! I would love to satisfy your cravings. Thank you Ashley for this fun opportunity! I'm beyond thrilled!
Baked Parmesan Corn
Around these parts we are gettin' corny!
Mostly, because corn on the cob was so cheap at the market I snagged enough for the whole week. This leaves me with a major need to spice corn up for the family!
One thing Dan and I love to do is go to the fair! We enjoy ourselves by stuffing our faces with fatty, fried foods and wash it down with whatever is cheap on tap. I really love those huge corn on the cobs grilled with lots of butter, spices and cheese. Naturally, I tried to re-create it at home and it turned out awesome! It is super easy. So fool proof in fact, you could have it for dinner tonight!
What You Need
`Corn on the cob
`Sticks
`Butter
`Salt
`Pepper
`Lots of Parmesan
Directions
`Pre-Heat the oven at 350 degrees
`Melt the butter
`Mix salt and pepper with the liquid butter.
`Put the sticks into the corn and place onto a baking sheet.
`Brush the corn with the butter mixture.
`Sprinkle heavily with Parmesan
`Bake the corn for about 15-20 minutes.
`Enjoy!

This week is when...

{Headband-H&M, Tank-Target, Pants-Target, Shoes-Target, Underwear-Guess....}
This week is when I try my hardest to wake up and get things done. Even though my eyes stay glued shut.
This week is when I wish I was back at Alissa's with the girls laughing till it hurts.
This week is when I let Elmo run more than once a day.
This week is when I forget to shower....sorry Dan.
This week is when my toddler runs around in a diaper all day. Mostly because its damn hot!
This week is when I feel so blessed because I'm busting out caramel and cake orders like a boss!
This week is when I count down till our family vacation. Counting down the days till I get to wear a bikini at all hours of the day.
This week is when cuddling with my man feels so good I fall asleep and drool on his chest. Then proceed to wake myself up with my own snoring. Again...sorry Dan.
This week is when I give up on planning a wedding. Over it at the moment.
This week is when I spend 2 hours coloring with my kid. When he has moved on to trucks, I'm still sitting there perfecting my flowers.
This week is when I just go for it...as best I can.
How is your week going?

Who Needs A Wedding Planner?
Tuesday, June 5, 2012
Dan and I recently got engaged and have started to plan our romantic nuptials.
The one thing we have agreed on thus far is a beach location. We finally picked one and now I'm stressed thinking I need a wedding planner. But, wait those impressive girls are way to much money. Now, I'm up to my ears in wedding magazines and loving every second of it. A little tooo much. At this point our wedding will be equipped with every DIY imaginable, string lights, detailed dessert table, 16 bridesmaids, photo booth OH and an ice cream bar. What the whaaaat?! I am guessing this is why love birds get eloped.
I better get organized and start saving my pennies...

What seemed to be the most helpful while planning?
Can you give me your secrets.
