Fruity Frozen Teethers

As most of you know, Mila has been teething since she turned six months. Her symptoms range from cranky sleepless nights to a low grade fever that lasts a few days. Her endless runny nose and drool at this point is something we all are used to. She has four teeth so far and tons more that are now sprouting up. We are constantly trying to sooth her. Her two favorite things are frozen tethers (both edible + those plastic ones that have the water in them) and silicon teething beads. I love to freeze pieces of fruit for her and have her nosh on them with a mesh teether. Though recently I've been getting a bit creative and blending up smoothie squares and using those in her mesh teethers. It is mixing us the flavors for her and keeps it a bit more interesting. Mila loves it!

I've partnered up with Cuties and created a pretty delicious and simple flavor combination. It is a tangy, creamy blend that Mila has taken a liking to. The recipe is below. Happy Teething Mamas! It can get a little rough sometimes and any advice/tricks are welcome. I hope your little ones enjoy this soothing treat!

Cuties Citrus Frozen Teethers

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Cook time: Freeze Over Night
  • Servings: 16-20 ice cubes

  • 3 Cuties Mandarins
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon coconut water
You'll need a blender, a mesh strainer and an ice cube tray or silicon mold.

Peel three Cuties mandarins. Pull apart the segments and blend.

Pour the Cuties liquid through a mesh strainer and discard the pulp. Pour the liquid back into the blender.

Slice a banana and add to the blender with the Cuties mandarin juice.

Add the coconut water to the blender, banana and Cuties mandarin juice.

Blend until smooth.

Pour the fruit juice mixture into an ice cube tray or silicon mold.

Freeze over night.

Once frozen solid, pop out and put into mesh teethers.

Store in the freezer for up to two weeks.
