Happy Summer Everyone! Our Summer just started and it seems we’ve been outside most nights grilling up dinner. Especially now that we have a new barbecue in our backyard!  Our family’s tried and true favorite are grilled cheeseburgers and my secret addition are hidden veggies. I thought I’d share our quick and easy recipe for any families out there who’d like to try it out. These are really flavorful and pack a veggie punch that my kids don’t even notice.

Turkey Sliders With Hidden Veggies

What You Need

1 pound of ground turkey (or any kind of ground meat you’d like)

1/2 a cup of shredded carrots

1/2 a cup of chopped baby spinach

1/2 tsp of salt

1 tsp of pepper

1/2 tbs of granulated garlic

1 tsp of granulated onion

1 tbs of olive oil

What You Do

-In a large mixing bowl add the; ground turkey, shredded carrots, chopped baby spinach, and spices.

-Drizzle in the olive oil and then mix everything together. Be sure to mix well so all the ingredients are well distributed.

-Use an ice cream scoop to measure out each slider the same exact.

-Then use your hands to shape each one into a slider.

-Grill according to your own barbecue until cooked through.

While the sliders cook, Mila and I peel our corn. Getting them ready for the grill! Nothing is better than grilled corn on the cob!

Be sure to add some cheese!
